Sensory Play in Tay

Every day in Tay Class we engage with sensory activities which are beneficial in providing feedback to our sensory processing systems to regulate our sensory needs, as well as improving co-ordination in developing fine motor skills.

Our favourite activity at the moment is coloured rice play… look how much fun we have as we are learning.

A close second is playing with dough. We used it to make cupcakes to celebrate a birthday, complete with candles! This was great fun and helped us to get ready for Dominic’s birthday party!
