Primary 1 update
We enjoyed working with numbers to 30. We played lots of different number games and then chose activities where we counted and compared amounts and ordered, organised and wrote numbers. We all worked really hard and had fun! We love counting forwards and backwards whilst dancing to the video below:

Friday 19th March – Feast Day of St. Joseph.
On Friday we learned about Saint Joseph. He was the husband of Mary and father of Jesus. He was chosen by God as a trustworthy guardian of Mary and Jesus. He was a carpenter and spent his life working hard, providing for his precious family. The Feast of St. Joseph is celebrated on 19t March every year, and it always falls during Lent.
Gracie – He made things with wood.
Maisie – He loved Jesus and Mary so much and looked after them.
Cai – He had a workshop.
Evie – Today is Saint Joseph’s special day.
Grace – We said a prayer to him and we listened to a song.
Rosie – His job was a carpenter.
Well done to this week’s STAR WRITERS!
Congratulations to Darren, Maisie, Gracie and Rosie who wrote super reports this week. They got a STAR WRITER certificate to take home, and their writing is displayed in the classroom. We are very proud of you!
We have been learning about electricity with Miss Lawton. We know how electricity gets into our homes and can recognise things that need electricity to work. We learned that electricity can be dangerous and we made some safety symbols. Our amazing work is displayed in the classroom!
