Primary 3
We started this week with a bang, our class assembly. We have been preparing for the assembly and decided to record it in advance, in case of any technical hiccups. Everyone did us proud and we have received lots of positive feedback, we hope you will take the time to have a look:https://glowscotland-my.sharepoint.com/:v:/g/personal/wljulie_stenhouse_glow_sch_uk/ERvcEUsRGPdAv3ME6XGkZ8UBC-0_gcQh_ySuYVXHOZwrJA?e=hX0TQZ
On Burns Day we prepared and ate a Burns Supper together. We had completed lots of research on Robert Burns for our assembly and wanted to celebrate his birthday in a traditional way.

We had the opportunity to peel and chop “tatties” and “neeps”, and we found this trickier than we thought it would be. We then waited patiently for it to cook before also having the opportunity to mash them! We all had a taste of the traditional supper, some of us tasting haggis and turnip for the first time! To finish it off we enjoyed some shortbread. Some of us pushed ourselves out of our comfort zones to try new things.
We then listened to some traditional Scottish music and enjoyed watching highland dancing – some of us gave it our best effort and had lots of fun.

As some of us start our preparations for the sacrament of Reconciliation we would ask you all to keep us in your thoughts. We have been looking at belonging in RE, the different places where we all belong, where we are part of something bigger. We have discussed how it is nice to feel that you belong, at home, in school, in church, at dancing, swimming, football, boxing and much more.

Have a lovely weekend.
