We are all loving construction club. Especially the junk modelling. This week we have a robot themed, we are enjoying using the mobilo, magnates, ello to create our own robots.

Today we made chocolate truffles in cooking club. We worked together to collect all the ingredients needed, following the instructions we made two between us. After this we had to use our memory to remember what we needed and the steps as we got to make two more!

It has been a great block of cooking club and we were all a bit sad that this was this blocks last week. This week at cooking club we made tasty burgers. We had lost of fun mixing the ingredients and using our hands to shape the burgers. We look forward to cooking again next week!

This week in cooking club we decided to make Pancakes We all enjoyed learning a new recipe to make pancakes, some of us were surprised that there was more than one recipe or type of pancakes. We used lots of skills and enjoyed getting to eat them straight away!

It was our first week back in Cooking Club today and we made Bonfire Pizzas!! Life skills are at the heart of our curriculum in Lomond Class. We have been learning how to safely prepare and cook different foods to a strict recipe. Over the past few sessions we have been making shortbread, lamb kebabs and French Toast. Well done to all our budding chefs.
