We took part in class presentations this week. There were a few nerves but I was absolutely blown away by the information that was shared, the confidence our P5s had and their natural ability to engage an audience. I think there are some future leaders among us! Well done P5!

P5 had a visit this week from Resilient Rhythms. It was fascinating to learn about the origins of a new musical instrument, and have a go at it. It has been a busy first week back in P5. We have attended our first committee of the school year where we have the opportunity to share our views and opinions about our experiences at St Mary's. P5 have enjoyed our mini topic on oceans of the world and the coral reef habitat. We concluded it by creating a model of a submarine that could dive to the coral reefs, collect samples, provide visuals and provide communication to the surface. The results were fantastic. Happy September weekend!
