January has gone in a flash. It's been a busy month, filled with fun and new learning. A lesson that was particularly enjoyed by P5 was our narrative about a wee Scottish Mouse. We took part in class presentations this week. There were a few nerves but I was absolutely blown away by the information that was shared, the confidence our P5s had and their natural ability to engage an audience. I think there are some future leaders among us! Well done P5!

P5 had a visit this week from Resilient Rhythms. It was fascinating to learn about the origins of a new musical instrument, and have a go at it. P5 have enjoyed our mini topic on oceans of the world and the coral reef habitat. We concluded it by creating a model of a submarine that could dive to the coral reefs, collect samples, provide visuals and provide communication to the surface. The results were fantastic. Happy September weekend!
