Good Morning I’ll be doing lunches today so I won’t be available for thelate morning or early afternoon today. I have left these tasks for you and there will be a call today for reading and one for maths 11am. These may be shorter today to fit everything in. For the people who joined us yesterday I hope you will come back regularly to see what we are getting up to. Have a good day. See you in the Posts.

Plan in the sections
Short catchy headline.
The by line with your name
The lead the most important information who, when, what, why, where, how?
The main body of the texts. Use quotes from your source to add detail to the story. – What did they think and feel?
The tail. – Sum up your story. Do you have a quote that will be a good ending for your report?
- What was Hetty McgGlumphorty’s advice to others? She said “I think by volunteering my time to others it has helped me to cope better with the pandemic.”
In this section you can also add related articles by using the headlines to encourage people to read more of the newspaper or website that the article would be published in. I’ll ask the other’s in the class to post their headlines so that you will be able to use them at the bottom of the article.
Maths-
L.I. – I am learning to add fractions
S.C. –
- I can use a diagram to identify what fraction has been shaded.
- I can use my knowledge of addition to add the fractions that are the same together.
- I can write an improper fraction as a mixed number.
I will meet you on a call at 11 am today. We will have a look at adding fractions. Have a look at the work for today and if you are confident that you know what to do then you don’t need to join the call. The call is there to do a quick lesson, to support and discuss concerns. Sort of like the support table we have in the classroom you only need to stay on as long as it is useful. If you want to leave the call and get started then I won’t be offended.
