It’s Friday, almost the weekend and its sports day, few, a lot going on!

Well done to everyone who has sent in photos and videos to support their house! The teachers have also been joining in and having fun trying all the challenges!

A special well done to all the adults at home who are not only  doing a fantastic job of helping you with your Home Learning but have embraced Health Week and Sports day as well as sending me in lovely photos and videos!

Keep those photos or videos coming in via the school email: wlstmaryspol-ps@westlothian.org.uk

Remember we are all good at different things and it really is the taking part and showing our school value of Perseverance that counts! Think about how you feel when you have to try really hard at something? It could be sports or it could be remembering our common words, time’s tables or even reading, we all have challenges. Check in with an adult about how you are feeling, use our Emotion Works its just as okay to feel frustrated or sad as it is to feel happy or proud, all feelings matter.

As its Friday it’s also Free Writing day….maybe you could write about the Health Week challenges you have tried this week? Or design a sports or health poster?

On the SumDog leader board for spelling is now Nathan!

On the SumDog leader board for maths is still John, closely followed by Mikey!

Holding on to top position in Prodigy so far is Leah closely followed by Skye!

Well done Primary 2! I will check in again once the challenge finishes as we had some late people in the leader board race last week.

I hope you all have a lovely, safe and relaxing weekend

Miss Stenhouse
