School of Excellence in Education:    Primary 3!  How are you?

Tomorrow, Thursday 21st May is the Feast of the Ascension.  I thought I would add a Blog post about it in preparation for tomorrow.  This Feast Day is a Holy Day of Obligation, and if we were in school, we would be celebrating Mass.

What is Ascension Day?

Jesus died on Good Friday.  On Easter Sunday, He came back to life.  This event is celebrated by Christians, but what happened afterwards?

This word actually takes its meaning from Christ’s ascent to Heaven.

On Ascension Day, Christians celebrate the ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven.
