Good morning to our Primary 1 Stars! We hope you have had a super week and enjoyed doing your Home Learning tasks.
It is Father’s Day on Sunday, so if you’ve not made a card or picture yet, don’t worry, you still have time! This is a day we celebrate all our dads, stepdads, grandads and uncles. Here are some ideas on what you could make for Father’s Day:

We hope you managed to make a picture for your Primary 7 buddy. They will be attached to the school fence so that all boys and girls in Primary 7 can look at them next week. You still have time to make one! If you haven’t done so yet, please try your very best to make a picture this morning and ask an adult in your family to pop it in to a member of staff at the school dining hall today between 12pm and 1.30pm. You can write a little message such as “Good Luck in Secondary School” or “Thanks for being a brilliant Buddy”. You might even draw a picture of what you have liked doing with your buddy this year. This will be so special for the Primary 7 children, so try your best to do this.
For those who have managed to hand them in already, well done and a great big thank you!
Next week is the final week of term! Can you believe that?! We have had such a wonderful time being your teachers this year. You are all so special to us and we have enjoyed teaching every single one of you. If you can, please send a little email to the school letting us know what you have enjoyed this year in Primary 1. We would love to hear from you again, as it makes us so happy!
Today is Friday, so that means ‘Free Writing Friday’. What will you draw and write about today? Whatever you do for ‘Free Writing’, share it with someone in your home and tell them what you did.
After you’ve done this, have a little check in with that person. Tell them how you are feeling on a scale of one to five. One means you are not feeling good, you might be feeling a little sad. Five means you feel super and really happy. It is always good to share your feelings and you can ask your family member how they are feeling too.
Here are some fun songs to end the week! Get up, sing your hearts out and dance, dance, dance!
We miss you. We are thinking of you and sending the biggest hugs!
