Rannoch Class are so happy and excited to be back in school, and have had a really good full week settling in. They were learning lots about the ‘Wellbeing Wheel’. The ‘Getting it right for every child’ (GIRFEC) approach to learning about the Wellbeing wheel will help support Rannoch boys understand that they grow up feeling loved, safe, nurtured and respected and that they will be supported in school and at home to do the very best they can. It has been fun and interesting talking about the first 4 parts of this wheel –‘Safe’ ‘Healthy’ ‘Achieving’ and ‘Nurture’.
Some of the boys managed to complete their handwriting on the Smartboard. Some were doing this for the first time- well done boys!
After last week’s potato picking, some other hard work was started in the school garden. The boys loved this, and worked together well to clear a small bit of the garden. We have never seen the weeds so high! They are also loving having fun on the bikes and scooters in the playground.
Rannoch Class started an Art & Craft activity but didn’t quite finish. They managed to make ‘hands’ and cut out some ‘germs’ demonstrating some good cutting skills. Watch this space to see the final pictures next week!
