What a great start to the week. We have worked really hard and learned so much. We learned 2 new letters this week, i and s. We investigated ice which begins with i and made igloos using sugar cubes. We enjoyed making shelters for the polar bears and penguins. We painted large shells of pasta which looked like snails and snail starts with s.
We continued to learn numbers from 0 to 10. We read the story Hooray For Fish and we could count the fish as the story went along. We played lots of counting and making number games. We are learning to count forwards and backwards.
We started the Word Boost programme this week. Our story was The Lamb Who Came to Dinner and we had to listen for word boost words in the story. The words we learned this week were, howl, trudge, delicious and gobble. Ask us if we can remember what they mean.
