This week Primary 2 have been learning more about Bonfire and Firework Safety. We know that this year is a little different due to the restrictions, so there won’t be any organised displays. Therefore, there may be more people having a display in their gardens at home. We understand the importance of them being carried out by a responsible adult and they must follow the Fireworks Code.
We listened to stories about the history of Bonfire Night and listened to a story online, read by a real fireman. We completed a little quiz and got all of the answers correct! Finally, we worked in small groups to make a Bonfire Safety poster and have displayed them outside our classroom.
