Cyber Attack update

Investigation work has been ongoing into the impact of the council's education network as a result of the criminal attack.

Primary 4 - Electrical Circuits and Charity Boxes

Primary 4 are having a very busy week!

We have been learning about how electrical circuits work and we have made our own!

First, we gathered all the components – they are the different types of equipment that you need to make the circuit. Then we build our circuits! When we could build a simple circuit, we then figured out how to include an on/off switch!

We drew and labelled our circuits. Next time, we will be learning how to draw a circuit diagram using symbols.

Look out for our Electrical Safety posters appearing around the school!

In RE, we have been learning about what charities do.

There are lots of different charities. Some of them help people who do not have enough to eat or do not have a home to live in. Some charities help people who have an illness. Some charities tell people about Jesus. Some charities help people who are injured.

We made charity boxes so that we can help too!
