What a great time Primary 3 have had during Scottish Book Week.

We have loved having more time for personal reading this week. We took the time to stop and get our books out and everyone read at different points in the day.

As well as reading we also had some time to write our very own books. We are all super proud of the books we have made. Everyone is looking forward to sharing their book with the class and then bringing it home! We had to take time to think about what our books should be called and make a catchy front cover, we were both the author and illustrator of our books – this created lots of discussion around why authors do not do their own pictures in their books.

After reading two new books in class this week we were all delighted to hear that we were getting a copy each to take home in our Read Write Count bags!
