Primary 3 have had an exciting week.
The start of advent has brought a lot of excitement to Primary 3. We have loved sharing stories about our elves and how we are preparing for Christmas at home. In class we have our Christmas tree up a class advent calendar as well some lovely new Christmas stories and are looking forward to our Christmas lunch and party. The arrival of some snow has added to the excitement!
We have also been reflecting on the why we celebrate Christmas, the birth of Baby Jesus. Taking some time to reflect we have created our own advent promises.
During our outdoor learning session we enjoyed getting to use some real tools to cut wood and hammer in stakes we made for a “dead” hedge. We all really enjoy spending time in the woodland area and to keep it nice we spent some time picking up litter, keeping it safe for everyone.
