Ness class have been joining with Alice from The Volunteer Conservationists to create a friendly habitat area for hedgehogs getting ready for hibernation. Ness class enjoyed creating a hidden feeding station and using tools to cut large branches to let us start making a dead hedge for the hedgehogs to hide in. Earlier in the year we were reading ‘Hoglet, the Spineless Hedgehog’ by Allyson Marnoch, so we are all really keen to make sure our local hedgehogs have somewhere safe for the winter to hibernate.
