World Book Day in Primary 3
On Thursday we enjoyed lots of book activities in school. We were all very excited to be in school in our pyjamas with our bedtime stories.

We had fun trying to complete the book hunt, the rain did not stop us getting outside! Thanks to Mrs Gaffney for organising it.
We had time to share our stories we had brought in with our friends and we were very good at explaining why we would recommend the book to someone. It was great to see so many of us enjoying reading chaper books now.
Listening to stories is one of our favourite things and we spent time listening to authors online reading their stories. Many of us would like to be writers when we are grown up.
New Reading Passports have been given out and we will use these in classs to log our reading.
There is an online library on seesaw that we can access at any time – we took some time to explore this in class.
We were excited to receive a certificate for participating in all the activities and a voucher to be used towards a book.
Wishing you all a fantastic weekend.
