In Maths Rannoch class have been learning about money at different levels. In language some have been learning about adverbs and others the sound ‘g.’ The boys were also in the garden turning the soil ready for some planting. They really enjoyed being in the garden doing some weeding and picked some litter that was around. The boys have also been learning about the different parts of a plant, and the importance of having good healthy roots going into the soil in order to grow properly.  In Arts & Crafts the boys loved learning about Vincent Van Gogh and managed some lovely pictures themselves of Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Sky’ and ‘Sunflowers’ using water colours and coloured pencil. They were also learning about the ‘Red Zone of Regulation’ and more Emotion Works as part of their HWB curriculum. The Bubbles were also out this week for some fun sensory play. What fun they had!

Their busy week ended with celebrating World Book Day by participating in a book hunt which they were really excited about. They managed to find all the books that were located all around the playground! Thank you to Mrs Gaffney P1 for organising this – the boys loved it!
