In Primary 3

We have enjoyed our Wellbeing Wednesday with outdoor learning and PE. We spend most of the day outdoors! As well as planting seeds we have been building a dead hedge within the school grounds to create a wild area within the school grounds. We have also been building a smaill bug hotel in class to take out.

We would love to build a bg bug hotel so if anyone has any wooden palets, bricks, slate that they could hand in that would be great!

We have been learning about plant and animal life cycles and we are hoping that the wild flowers and dead hedge will attract some wildlife.

In class we have been growing tomato plants once they are big enough we will be able to plant them outdoors as well.

Our maths focus has been on measuring this week and we have been developing our skills by taking our meter sticks outside!

During break time lots of us have been learning how to skip, we are learning the art of turning the rope for our friends and taking turns at jumping. In the space of one week we have made tremendous progress with some of us managing up to 40 jumps at a time!

As next week brings the start of May we have been reflecting on the importance of the month of May to Mary. We have been looking closer at the rosary and what each bead means. Throughout May we will pray to Mary.

I hope you all have a lovey long May weekend!
