John Muir Journey in P6 - 30.4.21

We are continuing our mission to gain our john Muir award before the end of P6.  We have enjoyed our time out doors over the past two weeks, especially with the weather improving.  The outdoor learning specialist is equipping us with the knowledge and skills we need to improve our local environment.  We have learned about the important work of pollinators and how crucial it is for them to have access to a variety of different plants.  We have learned about the dangers of defragmentation of wildlife and what we can do to help this.  This is especially relevant to us as more and more new houses are built in our surrounding areas.  We’ve planted trees, sown wildflowers, planted some veg and had a lot of fun doing it.
