We have had a short but busy week in Primary 3!

Continuing to use our skills outside we have been cutting branches with saws and hammering them into the ground to make a dead hedge. We hope that this will attract some living things that we can investigate.

We also had the opportunity to use the slack line to cross between two trees. This was much trickier than it looked and required a lot of perseverance.

As we are in the month of May we have been saying a decade of our rosary every day. We have put flowers on our class alter for Mary.

In maths we have been measuring mass, we have found it lots of fun using the scales in class to find out the weight of different items……..and ourselves!

In literacy we have focused on using adjectives to describe things, lots of active learning and fun had before we put pencil to paper.

We had the opportunity this week to help keep our school grounds clean by litter picking. We always enjoy using the litter pickers and we were pleased to report that there was not a lot of litter!
