Primary 3 Health Week 1
We have been participating in the Daily Mile. We have found this difficult to start with but as the week has gone on we have found it getting easier.
Fitness with Mrs Saunders was a big hit! We really enjoyed doing superhero fitness moves.
As we have been burning more energy by being more active we have enjoyed some healthy snack, some of us tried fresh orange for the first time.

Keir – Eating healthy snacks.
Colby-Ashlyn – Eating healthy and doing running every day.
Jessica – I liked doing the running.
Aaron – getting a extra snack after exercise.
Michael – Getting more snacks.
Mikey and John – we liked the superhero fitness.

And although it was raining we also enjoyed our Wednesday outside! We built dens up in the woodland area. We used team building and problem solving skills.

In class we have made Rosary Beads to help us say prayers to Our Lady during the month of May. Some of us found this tricky to thread the beads and tie the knots. This also let us develop our understanding of what the beads mean and why we use them.
Joel – I really enjoyed making them and it makes sense now.
Sofia – It helps me to stay focused.

In art we have been using our topic on Animals and plants to create models of our choice. This can be messy but lots of fun. We have had to use lots of skills to create these and we are looking forward to being able to paint them.
