This week it was our turn to present the whole school assembly. Our teachers are very proud of us. We all learned our own little speaking parts and worked very hard. Our assembly was all about Mary the Mother of Jesus. This is the month of May and a time when we think about Mary. We crowned Mary with a crown of flowers because she is the Queen of heaven and earth. On Sunday it is Pentecost Sunday. On this day the Holy Spirit came down upon the Disciples in tongues of fire. They were then given the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit and were able to go out into the world and teach all about Jesus.
