Our New Garden is ready for Action! Well almost! The Contractors have completely finished up our new garden area last week, having already completed the secure surrounding wall and lockable gates in March 2021, and this past week completed the central walk way and access paths to different planting areas. We are so lucky to have this fantastic area for our young people to develop into their own safe area for planting all sorts! It has been a major investment for the school (£12k) and we are very excited to be able to start planning the next steps!
The rest is now up to us! We’ll be looking for input from all classes into how the garden layout should be planned, so look out for blog posts /or school app messages for your suggestions for when this part of our ‘New Garden’ journey continues. The Eco-bubble will continue to drive this forward but will need lots of support from everyone – of course to be delivered in a safe way given we are still under Covid-19 restrictions.
