A bust first week in June!

Primary 3 have been looking to build a Bug Hotel for some time now and this week our plans came to life!

We had some very specific ideas of how we wanted our Bug Hotel to look like and with the help of some kind adults we collected all our materials needed and had some help in the construction.

We all enjoyed using the tools and using our building skills and we are all very proud of achievement.

At the start of the year we planted cherry tomato plants. We have been nurturing them in class and they are now strong enough to be planted outside! We have enjoyed watching them grow and are excited to see if we get any tomatoes! As we planted extra seeds these plants have been transferred into the school garden and we got to take our own ones home.

Learning about Castles has been lots of fun and we have been comparing castles and with our own homes. In pairs we have designed our own castles and are currently building them out of recycled boxes.

We are continuing to enjoy the daily mile every day, getting outside and some more fresh air, especially as it has been lovely weather.

Have a lovely weekend!
