What a busy week we have had in Primary 4!

In Maths, we have been working on Place Value including counting in hundreds and explaining what each digit means in hundreds, tens and ones.

We have been learning to estimate and measure area too. We can now use squares and half squares. We are designing robots! We’ll use squares and half squares in our designs.

In Literacy we started to work on non-fiction . We learned to use the Contents, Glossary and Index in non-fiction books.

We practised our Listening Skills with a Listening Activity too!

We are enjoying our topic on the Romans. We learned about the Roman Army and Roman soldiers this week.

In RE, we thought about Sunday. Sunday is a special day!

In French, we have started to learn the names of Classroom Objects. Our favourite was une poubelle which means bin. We are getting really good at counting up to 10 and we will be learning to count to 20 in French next week.

Mrs Nichol taught us some rhymes in Music this week.
