Primary 4 have been working hard again this week!

We have been continuing to use non-fiction to find out facts. This week, we have been concentrating on captions and labels. We drew and labelled our own pictures and we labelled the uniform of a Roman Soldier.

We also started our Roman Soldier collages. We painted an outline of a soldier and we’ll make his uniform from card, foil and crepe paper next week.

In RE, we have been learning about Jesus’ greatest commandment – Love One Another. We have been creating little plays showing when people do and do not follow this commandment.

We have also been learning to estimate and measure area using square centimetres. We even learned to write it like this:

cm

At the end of the lesson, we were given answers and we had to think of questions!

Can you think of a question to go with this answer?

In square centimetres.

We have also been working on comparing and ordering numbers. We had to identify the greatest number and then put the numbers into order.

In French, we are still learning to use French for classroom objects. We played a game when you had to identify the missing object in French!

Have a good weekend, Primary 4!
