It has been another busy week in Primary 3.
In maths we have been looking at different strategies to add two numbers together. Some of us prefer partitioning, some prefer stacking and some of us enjoy using blocks so we can visualise the sum better. We found it fun to write our answers on the desks with our whiteboard pens.
In RE we have been looking at St Mary, the patron saint for our school. We have discussed how the Holy Spirit helped her make good choices and we can make good choices every day.
We did some science work this week, looking at sound energy and what sound really is – how do we hear. We are all keen to complete some science experiments to help us with our understanding.
Our highlights this week:
Kornilia – PE on Tuesday.
Reaya – I like coming in to see Miss Stenhouse.
Tyler – I like to go outside to play and do PE.
JJ-N – Fruity Friday.
Zuzanna – when we were crazy and doing our maths on the tables!
One of our class members brought in a medal from home this week and we were all amazed that it was a boxing medal. Lots of questions were asked and this has inspired us to share other achievements from home.
