Primary 7 have worked hard this week!

It’s been a busy week in Primary 7. We have started our reciprocal reading groups and have been learning how to summarise a text. In comprehension we have been engaging with visual texts and using our literacy and thinking skills to decode their messages. For numeracy we have been looking at place value, number patterns and the four operations (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) and learning a wider variety of strategies to solve mental maths problems.
Finally we have been very busy preparing for our Prefect interviews and House Captain hustings and we are looking forward to leading Monday’s whole school assembly!
