Primary 3 have had another great learning week!

As it is Maths Week Scotland we have been doing lots of maths activities in class and online. We finished 379th out of 7761 classes’ entered in the Sumdog competition! This is an amazing achievement and next time we aim to get even higher up the leader board. We all worked well as a team, completing tasks in class and at home to gain our class points.

We have enjoyed using the numicon, cubes, counters, sticks, stones and lots more to help us with our maths…..even during choosing time we were using Lego and Octons to make patterns and shapes.

Everyone enjoyed our first outdoor learning session of the year, even the rain didn’t dampen our fun! We harvested vegetables from the garden, we hope you enjoyed them? It was great that so many shared their photos on Seesaw. We hope to be outdoors more regularly moving forward.

We are looking to moved out planters to the new school garden so we can plant more fruit and vegetables to enjoy in June!

In RE we have been preparing for the month dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. We have looked at why we pray the Rosary and why it is special to Mary.

We have made some great descriptive pieces of writing this week, using adjectives to describe nouns. We planned our writting using the describing bubbles and then put our work into sentences.

Have a lovely weekend!
