P6 have been working hard these past few weeks on developing some new skills and fine tuning the ones we already have.

In music we are learning the basic notes on the ukulele.  Some real talent has been uncovered and we hope to accomplish some melodies by Christmas.

We are exploring the art work of the Ndebele people that are native to some parts of Africa.  This is linked to our study of the African Savannah ecosystem.  We created clay tiles and are decorating them just like the Ndebele women would do with their homes.

It has been Maths Week Scotland this week.  We have used a range of problem solving skills to beat the escape room challenge.  It certainly did push us all to the limit – including the adults in the room!
