What a busy week we have had in Primary 1.
We really enjoyed our Word Boost story this week. The story was ‘The Lamb who came for Dinner’, by Steve Smallman.
Our Boost words this week were delicious, trudge, howl and gobble. We were very good at listening for the words in the story and we put our hands on our heads.
We continued to subitise in maths. We had so much fun playing with the dice, dominoes, picture cards and bingo. Some of us were being the teacher and asking the others in the group ‘how many?

This week we also discussed that our own opinion is important. We all have things we like and things we don’t like. We did a class survey to find out what our favourite fruit is. We used tally marks to show how many people liked grapes, bananas, oranges, apples and pears. Grapes were the most popular and oranges were the least popular.
