This week we have used our learning in science to complete some experiments. We were all Super Sound Scientists ‍‍.

We investigated how sound vibrations can move things by completing a dancing rice experiment. Our second experiment was watching sound move on water and how different levels of water effect the sound we hear. Lastly we made our own paper telephones so we could investigate how the vibrations travel up the string, looking at what happens if we make the string longer or shorter.

After waiting patiently for our leaves to dry out, we pressed them a few weeks ago, we created some Amazing Art with them. Everyone followed the learning intentions well and I am sure you will agree the results were amazing. We have created a lovely display in the school corridor and everyone has been very impressed.

In RE this week we deepened our understanding of the Rosary and why we pray to Mary in October by making our very own Rosary Beads. We all enjoyed completing this activity and although some of us found it tricky we were very proud of our completed work. We will be using these in class throughout the month of October.

We have had a focus on our handwriting in class this week, making sure that our writing is properly formed and sitting on the line.

During choosing time we have been learning to use proper tools and have shown that we can be very responsible with them.

Have a lovely break!
