It means I call myself or My name is …
You can say it before your name when you introduce yourself!
Pierre says, ‘Je m’appelle Pierre!’
Celine says, ‘Je m’appelle Celine!’
Look out for the phrase in your classroom and around the school. Practise using it when you introduce yourself!
