Cyber Attack update

Investigation work has been ongoing into the impact of the council's education network as a result of the criminal attack.

Primary 3

In Primary 3 this week…….

In maths we have been working on temperature, we have learned that we use a thermometer to measure temperature and that we measure in degrees Celsius. We thought about why we might want to measure temperature and when we have saw temperatures in the past. We all got the chance to measure our own temperatures.

In literacy we have been working very hard in RWI, learning to read and spell with a variety of special friends! We have also been enjoying reading some Christmas theme books that our elf, Elf brought us. We have been working hard writing information reports, using technology in the class to research fact about them and put these facts into sentences.

In RE we have been looking at the preparation for the birth of Jesus. The anticipation for the birth of Jesus is definitely growing in Primary 3.We have been practicing our parts in the Nativity and all going well we will get it recorded next week.

We have also created keepsake handprints for home this week. Manipulating materials together and printing our own hands we then had to wait patiently for them to dry so we could give them a winter design. We hope you like them as much as we enjoyed making them.

Final news from Primary 3…..our Elf has been up to lots of mischief

in our classroom, making us laugh every day! We have had snow ball fights in class, elf poop, a giant elf friend (Sugar the elf) and today we planted Candy Cane beans, hopefully by Monday we will have some Candy Canes to enjoy!

Have a lovely weekend
