Primary 4 have started their work on Water!
In Science, we will be learning about dissolving, melting and the Water Cycle as well as lots of other interesting things!
In Art and Design, we’ll be looking at how artists paint pictures of water.
In Maths, we have started to learn about Volume and Capacity. We poured water into beakers and measured the volume and placed them in the correct order.
Here are some Fun Facts that we learned:
We measure volume in litres and millilitres.
You write l for litre and ml for millilitre.
There are 1000 millilitres in a litre.
You can measure the volume in a jug or beaker that has markings on the side.
Sometimes, the markings go up in 50s so you need to be able to count in 50s.
