Primary 4 have had a very busy week!
In Maths, we have been learning to divide. We have been discussing our strategies for dividing. Some of us like to make an array to work out sums. Some of us can use the multiplication tables to work out divisions. Some of us prefer to make our counters into groups. Others prefer to share out the counters.
In RE, we were learning about what is inside a church. We have started to learn about St Paul too!
We have been using Task Maps in Reading. You can choose which activities to do after you have read and talked about your book.
In Topic, we carried out experiments to see which substances dissolve in water. It was great fun and we found out lots of information. Before we tried each substance, we made a prediction. Some of our predictions were right and some weren’t!
We learned all about a French artist called Andre Derain. He painted wonderful landscapes. He often painted water so we tried to copy his style!
In French, we have started to learn the names of clothes.
It was our turn for the Litter Pick too so we really did have a busy week!
