This week in Primary 5, we have been planning the learning for our topic on Mary, Queen of Scots. We have been preparing a fact file in her life and gathering inportant information. We have a list of questions that we want to find out the answer to. Eg. Why was Mary beheaded? How many husbands did Mary have? and What age was Mary when she died?
We have also taken part in outdoor education where we have been making maps of Polbeth and taken part in outdoor play and we heard a story about looking after our planet. We will be taking part in outdoor learning as part of our John Muir topic every Tuesday until the end of term.
The childern have been learning Scots poems for our competition in early February. The Primary 5 finals will take place on Friday 28th January where our finalists will be selected. Good luck everyone.
