Primary 4 learned about Surface Tension this week.

We learned about how the surface of water acts like a skin. Some creatures use this skin to propel themselves along.

We watched a video about pond skaters. They use the surface of the water to move really fast. They can travel across the pond without breaking the surface.

We made our own creatures and found out if they could stand on the surface of water too.
