This week primary 2 were den building with Mr Lockhart. We worked together to build a den with walls. It was a little tricky because of the wind, we had to tie the ropes very tight to stop everything blowing away.
In topic we started comparing the area we live in to the Isle of Coll. We first thought about the shops and restaurants we found out how their is not that many shops or places to go eat on Coll. Some of us decided we couldn’t go their as their is no chippy or McDonalds. We then built shops using lego complete with isles and checkouts.
Today we looked at the difference in our houses we use google maps to see how the houses on Coll are small and painted white. We worked together to create models of the house on Coll. The are fantastic.
