Raising Children With Confidence
We are pleased to announce that we will be running the next Raising Children with Confidence Course starting on Thursday at 9.00. There are a few places still available. Raising children with Confidence is interesting, practical and a good chance to meet other parents and talk about the difficulties of being a parent/carer as well as the good times.
Raising Children with Confidence is an excellent, Scotland wide, course for parents, carers and school staff. It covers:
Promoting Wellbeing (Supporting children’s mental and wellbeing)
The Developing Brain (How experience shapes the brain)
Why Love Matters (creating positive relationships and attachments)
Staying Connected (Listening to understand and developing empathy)
Building Resilience (coping with life’s ups and downs)
Looking After Ourselves (The importance of parental wellbeing)
