On Tuesday we learned about Shrove Tuesday and why people call it Pancake day. We thought about one thing we could give up, one thing to change, and one thing to start over the period of lent. We enjoyed making faces and eating our pancakes, strawberries and banana too.
On Wednesday we celebrated Ash Wednesday as a whole school. This was our first time going to Mass in the hall with everyone else. We were a little nervous at first as it was new, but really enjoyed seeing everyone.
On Thursday we a had a fun filled day for world book day, we loved coming to school in our pyjamas and have decided they are much more comfy to wear to school. We took part in a book scavenger hunt, created spoon character puppets which were fantastic and we listened to the story Don’t Ask the Dragon, we think we would ask the dragon first next time.
