This week we took our maths outdoors. We made fractions of shapes and played a fractions game outside.
We have also enjoyed planting some flowers in the playground. We planted tulip and daffodil bulbs to brighten up the playground. We have been learning all about the life cycle of plants in science.
Our caterpillars have started to form chrysalis, we are looking forward to them emerging into beautiful butterflies. We will release the butterflies out into the wild once they emerge.
Harry – My favourite part of the week has been maths. Doing the fractions because I have been practicing them. And I liked doing them outside.
Maya – I have enjoyed getting outside, especially planting bulbs in the playground.
Isabel – I have really enjoyed outdoor this week.
Jackson – My favourite part of the week has been word boost, I like listening to the story and doing the work on the smart board, learning new words.
