Primary 1

Welcome back after our Easter Holidays. We all enjoyed sharing with the class what we got up to during the holidays.

We had a super outdoor learning session this week in the school garden We participated in a sensory treasure hunt, exploring the smells and feels in the garden.

In RE we picked the story of Jonah and the Whale . We all have a good understanding of the rules we have to follow and that grownups have to follow rules as well. We talked about how we all can make mistakes but it’s good to say sorry and God always forgives us. We made Jonah and the Whale models to remind us of this.

In numeracy and maths we have moved on to learning fractions, our focus will be making 1/2 of different shapes and to challenge

different amounts. Two parts make one whole.

 

 

 

Primary 1 have had a fantastic first week back and are looking forward to our last term in Primary 1.
