Primary 1

We have had a great week in the sunshine, remembering to be Sunny Safe with our sun hats and sunscreen .

We got out in the garden and planted potatoes carrots and beans . We were very safe and responsible with the garden tools and all showed great listening skills to follow the instructions. We are looking forward to watching them grow.

We also practiced our balance and coordination skills on the trim trail, we have been doing very well using our perseverance and trying hard as we can find some things tricky.

In class we have been working on time . We have been talking about how we know time is moving, we have talked about day and night time, moths, seasons, days and the clock Our focus with the clock is telling the time on the hour, o’clock.

Primary one have been good role models, we have been up to the nursery to meet the new boys and girls who are coming up to school in the summer. We enjoyed playing with them and telling them all about Primary 1.
