December in P1

Wow what an exciting time in Primary 1, Santa has sent one of his elf’s to our classroom. He brought us a Christmas tree all the way from the North Pole and left us some things to decorate it with.

We have also decorated our classroom door for Christmas

We have been working super had practicing the Nativity show and are looking forward to performing it for you next week!

In RE we learned about St Andrew and that he is the patron saint of Scotland to celebrate this we made our very own Scotland flags.

Our writing inspiration for this week was The Elf, we drew our own elf’s and described them as well as giving them a cheeky name.

On Friday Cookie Crumble left us instructions and ingredients to grow our own candy canes . Special soil, a candy cane seed and some special elf magic.

We also attended the school start of advent mass. We were very respectful and joined in when we could.
