Hello February in Primary 1

Primary 1 kicked of the week with some buddy time, our buddies read us a story that we picked and then we had some time to play together. They then helped us with our Scottish songs for the school assembly.

As part of our RE this week we learned all about St Valentine We talked about what we know already, love hearts, chocolates and what we see in the shops. We then learned why it is a special day about love and made cards for someone we love.

We also created beautiful tie dye effect love hearts during our art session, we are all very pleased with how they have turned out. We were surprised when we were told we were going to spray our artwork with water and had some good predictions at what would happen, we trusted the process and are all very proud.

All of Primary 1 took part in singing our Scottish songs to the whole school, we sang Wee Willie Winkie and You Canny Shove Your Granny Aff the Bus .
