This week in Primary 5!

P5 had a fantastic time celebrating St Patrick’s Day on Tuesday with Ms Fox. The children enjoyed taste-testing real Tayto crisps and even made their own shamrock shakes, which was a big hit! These fun activities were linked to our learning, inspiring some excellent descriptive writing. In Religion, the class explored the life of St Patrick and used their knowledge creatively to design and produce comic strips, bringing key moments of his story to life. It was a fun-filled and meaningful day of learning across the curriculum.

 

Some of our pupils went to see Matilda the Musical in The Playhouse Theatre in Edinburgh. They thoroughly enjoyed it and are looking forward to producing our own show “Matilda” in June.
