Primary 1

Primary 1 have been learning about the oceans and different creatures that live in it. This week we used this to create beautiful ocean scene pictures. We used different techniques to create layers on our pictures. We are all proud of our work and had lots of fun making them.

During RE this week as well as having a focus on lent and being forgiving like Jesus, we also learned about St Partrick. We created trinity shamrocks to represent The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. We had to use lots of fine motor skills to create these.

During outdoor learning this week we were out in the garden starting our vegetable teepee. We had to carefully fill the planters with soil and sick a big bamboo stick in each one. Miss Stenhouse then tied them together before we planted our seeds. We have planted cucumber and bean seeds as they like to grow tall.
