P3
Today, P3 took part in a special assembly all about Mary, mother of Jesus. P3 worked very hard to prepare for the assembly and were excited to share their learning with the school and parents.
During the assembly, we shared the importance of Mary and learned why the month of May is dedicated to Mary by the Catholic Church.
P3 spoke clearly and confidently while sharing their knowledge and even sang a hymn for everyone. We were very proud of the effort everyone put into their reading and speaking in front of an audience.
P3 showed excellent teamwork and respect throughout the assembly and demonstrated great confidence. Thank you to all the families who came along to support us.
Well done, P3, on a wonderful assembly!

This week, we also began our new life cycle topic. We started by exploring the life cycle of a frog and watched a fascinating time-lapse video showing each stage of its development. We then compared the frog life cycle to the human life cycle, discussing the similarities and differences between them.
On Wednesday, we received a very special delivery of caterpillars! We carefully found them a safe home in our classroom and have loved observing and looking after them each day. P3 are very excited to watch them grow and change. Next week, we will continue our learning by exploring the caterpillar life cycle in more detail.
